• Resilience should be used as a complementary metric to vulnerability and risk. Interdependency assessment highlights hidden vulnerabilities. Higher level of interdependencies exposes networks higher vulnerability. Interdependencies creates greater opportunities for shared interventions. The common challenge currently faced by critical infrastructure (CI) asset owners operators is the lack an integrated robust resilience-informed business planning management approach in response interdependent assets’ failures, particular due low-probability/high-impact environmental hazards. among CI can cause cascading failures hence, amplify impacts these failures. This also affect CI’s service restoration rate consequently, reducing their resilience coping with hazardous events. As infrastructures are becoming more some sectors, there increasing need better interactions interdependencies.
